What is our rehabilitation protocol in Tarragona?
Most likely your specialist has prescribed a minimum of 10 rehabilitation sessions. To access our rehabilitation service through your insurance, you must first see a specialist who can prescribe the rehabilitation sessions — whether a traumatologist, rheumatologist, neurologist or rehabilitation doctor.
Once you have the prescription, you must call your insurance company to authorize the rehabilitation treatment in Tarragona (the only company that doesn't currently require this is DKV).
You can then call us to schedule your sessions at our rehabilitation centre. Rehabilitation attendance is daily and always at the same time.
At the start, one of our physiotherapists will design a combined physiotherapy treatment plan, which may include different techniques such as electrotherapy, magnetotherapy, thermotherapy, massage therapy or kinesiotherapy, depending on the condition being treated.

How long does it take for rehabilitation to work?
It depends on the condition, of course, but the most common issues such as neck pain, low back pain or tendinitis usually improve significantly after about 20 rehabilitation sessions.
